Cook Counseling and Consulting Inc. is a rapidly growing mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families. With multiple offices across Central Ohio, as well as telehealth services in several states, we take pride in delivering high-quality, client-centered services in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Our Baltimore office is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our team.
Position SummaryThe Therapist will provide outpatient psychotherapy services to clients of all ages, depending on the scope of practice. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual, family, or group therapy, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation. The Therapist will also participate in supervision and team collaboration to ensure best practices in clinical care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions for a variety of presenting concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues).
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with state regulations and company policies.
- Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and staff meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues, referral sources, and community partners to support continuity of care.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with state licensure and Cook Counseling and Consulting Inc. policies.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- Active Ohio license: LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, IMFT, or equivalent.
- Experience providing outpatient mental health treatment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural humility, and commitment to client-centered care.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and basic technology.
