Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We serve southeastern and central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities.

The Acute Care Manager is responsible for the operational and clinical oversight of assigned OhioRISE care coordination services i,ncluding the Virtual and Engagement teams within Care Management Entity (CME) designated areas of Region H & I. This leadership position ensures a high-quality, person-centered approach centered on high-fidelity wraparound principles that are accomplished through a combination of knowledge transfer, support, and feedback as needed.
RegionH:
Fayette, Pickaway, Highland, Ross, Pike, Jackson, Gallia, Meigs, Hocking, Vinton, and Athens Counties
Region I:Guernsey, Noble, Coshocton, Washington, Muskingum, Fairfield, Morgan, and Perry Counties
The pay range for this position is $85,505.20-$96,320.97 annually based on experience, education, and/or licensure.
Essential Functions:- Provides direct oversight of OhioRISE care coordination services, operations, and programmatic activity for care coordination services within Region H and Region I to include our Virtual and Engagement teams
- Directly manages Care Coordination Supervisors; providing support, developmental opportunities, coaching, and clinical oversight in-person and virtually as needed
- Engages community stakeholders, county leaders, service providers, and Aetna to assess county and community needs to support youth and families served within the identified area
- Maintains clinical knowledge, county resources, and understanding of the circumstances of CME’s youth, particularly high-acuity youth
- Monitors service delivery for desired quality and clinical outcomes and other targeted benchmarks and implements programmatic changes when needed
- Develops and maintains working relationships with cross-agency personnel, partner agencies, community stakeholders, and system partners to ensure a coordinated approach in the identified area
- Attends Child and Family Team Meetings for youth with escalated clinical needs or where state partners or Aetna are involved
- Ensures a weekly clinical review structure that allows for group supervision and oversight for youth served within the designated area
- Responsible for monitoring policy, fidelity compliance, and disciplinary actions for assigned teams
- Monitors and analyzes financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
- Develops an annual budget in collaboration with the Associate Director, Managing Director, and the finance department
- Applies an in-depth understanding of managed care, utilization review, and behavioral health systems to promote cost-effective, outcomes-driven care to maximize the best outcomes in the most cost-effective manner
- Co-leads the planning of OhioRISE-specific trainings for quality improvement
- Travel within the designated service areas (Region H and Region I) (30%)
- All other duties as assigned
- A high school degree or GED equivalent is required
- A bachelor’s degree in social work, education, counseling, psychology, public health, or related fields is required
- Master's degree is required.
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as an LISW/LPCC is required
- 4+ years of experience providing case management/care coordination services is preferred
