Job Overview
Under general direction from Nursing Director, this position utilizes nursing and public health concepts and theories including basic epidemiology to provide selected health promotion and disease prevention services to individuals, families, and groups in a variety of settings.
ResponsibilitiesParticipates in planning, implementing and evaluation health programs including selected health education program.
Participates in public health programs including but not limited to communicable disease control, services to children with medical handicaps, health screenings, child and adult immunizations, newborn home visits, and selected grant sponsored programs.
QualificationsGraduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing Program, or Registered Nursing Program, with a current nursing license to practice in the State of Ohio.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; or an associate degree with two (2) years’ experience, or equivalent combinations of training and/or experience.
Valid Ohio driver’s license.
