Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as a Caregiver Assistant. The Caregiver Assistant supports resident care within the branch, ensuring residents’ daily needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity, allowing them to live their lives to the fullest.

• Full‑time employees are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products)
• Part‑time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for voluntary life, voluntary short‑term disability, voluntary long‑term disability, accident, critical illness, identity protection, and cyber monitoring
• Benefits start on the first of the month following 30 days of employment

• Pay available daily

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.

• High School Diploma or GED, or one year of related experience.
• Willing to successfully complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional training or education required by specific states.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
