Travel Nurse – Stepdown Unit

Role: Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse providing specialized patient care during a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities Include

• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding to abnormalities
• Administering medications and treatments, assisting with cardiac procedures
• Assessing patient conditions, documenting health information
• Providing patient education on cardiac health and safety
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Ensuring safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum one year recent Stepdown RN experience
• Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical thinking, excellent communication, interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move and assist patients and equipment
• Proficiency in reading instructions, documentation, and technology
• Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular activity, and maintain confidentiality
