Pharmacist

Provides pharmaceutical care to patients. Monitors and evaluates the quality of medication use. Provides drug information, distribution, and control of medications. Monitors and manages patient medication therapy for appropriateness and effectiveness. Maintains departmental policies, procedures, and quality improvement programs. Communicates medication information effectively to patients and other healthcare providers. Participates in drug therapy management during medical emergencies. Coordinates the activities of pharmacy technicians to meet departmental needs. Job may require physical exertion up to 50 pounds occasionally and significant lifting. Engages in activities requiring problem-solving and collaboration.

May involve exposure to electrical equipment.
