Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Travel–Temporary Assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Weekly pay: $2,528–2–604.

• Deliver prescribed radiotherapy treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
• Obtain patient history, answer questions, explain procedures, and observe for reactions during treatment
• Coordinate with physicists and the care team; schedule treatments and maintain safety and quality standards
• Verify prescriptions, diagnoses, chart accuracy, and patient identification prior to treatment
• Prepare treatment room and equipment; position and transfer immobilized patients with attention to safety and comfort
• Provide patient education on treatment effects and care of the irradiated area; reinforce physician and nurse recommendations
• Perform verification and port film exposures; adjust therapy as directed by the physician

• Education:
  
  Associate degree in radiography with certification in radiation therapy;
  Bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy preferred
• Licensure/
  
  Certifications:
  
  State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist; ARRT license; CPR certified. Ohio Department of Health license preferred upon submission
• Experience:
  
  1–2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred
• Credentials: ARRT certification; active licensure as applicable; current CPR
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and in a travel assignment environment; good communication and multitasking skills
