Community Behavioral Health Worker I-FAST

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources. We serve Southwestern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities.

Our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.

I-FAST Community Behavioral Health Workers work in collaboration with all involved to address the needs of youth and families that are experiencing a wide range of DSM diagnoses, including complex cases of children at risk for out-of-home placement. This role empowers families to address challenging and/or problematic behavior and to help children/youth aged 5-21 make life-transforming changes. Treatment progress is made through intensive interventions such as skill building, changing unhelpful family interactions, and increasing social support, to name a few.

This role receives ongoing training in the Integrated Family and Systems Treatment (I-FAST) model as you work with families, children/youth, their communities, and other key members of their ecology to implement I-FAST as designed.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $22.26 per hour based on experience, education, and/or licensure.

Essential Functions:

Engage individuals and families in the home and community to identify strengths, barriers, and goals related to behavioral health and daily functioning.

Provide direct interventions using the I-FAST treatment model and principles. Some principles include leveraging strengths and focusing on the positive, understanding sequences of behavior, and increasing mature behavior

Conduct a thorough assessment of the client and family: gather information on behaviors of concern and strengths in the family and their ecology to inform conceptualization of the problem behaviors and interactions within the family’s ecological context

Conduct treatment planning and participate in regular collaboration with members of the treatment team including schools, courts, care management entity, etc.

Provide care in home and community-based settings

Continuously work to engage the primary caregiver, family members, supports, and community agency staff (school, probation, child welfare) in change-oriented treatment

Dedicate time to weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress, with ongoing support from your supervisor and team members

Attend regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities to acquire extensive clinical skills within the I-FAST treatment model.

Provide backup for team members as needed to ensure continuity of care and 24/7 coverage responsibilities

Adhere to ISBH EHR Documentation policy

Meet ISBH standards for productivity and quality of service delivery

Utilizes databases and Electronic Health Record systems for accurate client documentation

Maintain compliance with HIPAA, mandated reporting requirements, and professional ethical guidelines

Travel within designated service areas
