Job Responsibilities- Direct manufacturing line support.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process problems as required.
- Service, maintain, repair, install and test equipment in accordance with current machine specifications.
- PLC/HMI troubleshooting and maintenance to support production.
- Reteach and troubleshoot robotic material handlers and weld cells.
- Create and modify electrical drawings, process & instrumentation diagrams and schematics as required.
- Ensure safety by working in accordance with all safety standards.
- Assist with mechanical repairs as needed.
- Perform PM inspections as required.
- Follow Maintenance Manager and Team Leaders direction and task prioritization.
- Improve PMS when diagnosed through breakdowns or continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned by a supervisor or Manager.
- Adhere to the IATF
16949 Standard as required. - Must comply with all Environmental and Health and Safety systems and standards as it pertains to their work.

- $29.78 – $37.33 /hr., depending on experience.
- $8,000 skilled trade bonus paid out over 12 months ($1,000 after 1 month, $2,000 paid at 3 & 6 months, and $3,000 paid at 12 months).
This position is a 2nd shift.
Required Skills / Experience- Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Technician or similar Engineering degree/diploma/certificate or Trades Qualification and significant equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge in the following software packages:
Allen Bradley RS Logix 500, 5000, Factory Talk View Studio, Allen Bradley Panel Builder 32, Omron CX‑Programmer, Omron NT‑series Support Tool an asset. - Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting along with Robot programming and troubleshooting is an asset.
- Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot industrial networks (Device Net, Ethernet
IP). - Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot machine safety circuits and applications (ABB Jokab).
- Understanding of VFD, DC and Servo Drive systems.
- Familiar with Vision Systems (Keyence, Cognex, Omron).
- Previous experience and exposure to robotics (ABB, Motoman) an asset.
- Understanding of Data Tracking and the use of Barcode Scanners or RFID.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, schematic design specifications, update drawings as required.
- Understanding of welding and welding processes.
- Knowledge of and experience with panel building.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing and able to work overtime as per job requirements.
