Job Responsibilities- Lead the planning and execution of manufacturing, integration, and Industry 4.0‑related projects from concept through implementation.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, production, maintenance, quality, IT support, and external suppliers.
- Support equipment installation, production line launches, and process integration activities.
- Drive implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives such as connected equipment, data collection systems, and process automation.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with plant and business goals.
- Identify project risks and operational constraints; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Manage project scope changes and ensure alignment with cost and timeline targets.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and communicate status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures.
- Track key project metrics including timing, cost, performance, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Support continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing processes.
- Assist with vendor coordination, equipment procurement, and system integration activities.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of project management practices within the plant.
- Hands‑on involvement in high‑impact manufacturing and digital transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in project management within manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
- Proven experience managing equipment integration, production launches, or plant‑level projects.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and plant operations.
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts such as automation, data integration, digital manufacturing, or smart factory systems.
- Strong experience in automotive or manufacturing environments, combined with project management expertise and an understanding of modern, connected production systems.
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams in a production environment.
- Solid knowledge of project management principles (timeline, cost, risk, scope management).
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, Tier 1 supplier environment or equipment integration.
- Familiarity with production line automation, robotics, PLCs, or assembly systems.
- Experience with manufacturing data systems (MES, SCADA, or similar platforms).
- Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, or similar).
- Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives or smart factory implementations.
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, or other automotive quality standards.
- Experience working with suppliers, system integrators, or capital equipment vendors.
- Proficiency with project tracking tools (MS Project, Excel, Smartsheet).
