- Sets up equipment
- Conducts quality checks and reacts to quality issues
- Communicates/interfaces with all departments
- Assists in maintenance activities
- Uses hand tools
- Operates hand pallet jack to move pallets several times per shift
- Completes daily housekeeping tasks
- Attends safety and team meetings/training
- Conducts monthly safe audits
- Other duties as assigned
- Regularly required to communicate effectively
- Attention to detail
- Frequently required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach/pull with hands and arms
- Performs repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Required to stand continuously for 30–60 minutes
- Climbs or balances; stoops/bends, kneels, crawls around various pieces of equipment daily
- Ascends and descends 2 steps to repair and clear jams on stretch wrap machine and 3 steps to dump boxes of bands
- Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds from different heights
- Lifts arms over head to clean equipment daily
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Uses hand and power tools
- Works up to twelve (12) hour shifts, days, nights, weekends, and swing shifts
- May require additional hours beyond the regular 12‑hour work day (evenings and weekends)
- Fully complies with all OSHA safety rules and regulations
- Demonstrates the ability to follow directions
- High school diploma preferred. Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
