Overview
At United Way of Fairfield County, we are committed to using our resources to create meaningful, lasting impact. We fulfill our mission by bringing together community partners—leading, educating, and challenging one another to develop sustainable, relevant programs that improve the quality of life for all. Our vision is that every individual in Fairfield County has access to the services and resources they need to live a successful, fulfilling life.
Since 1940, the United Way has worked in Fairfield County to advance the common good by focusing on equitable opportunities to education, financial stability, and health. These are the building blocks for a good life - a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. Causes may come and go, but we are here for good.
The United Way of Fairfield County raises approximately $1.5 million annually working with a team of volunteers who share with fellow workers and friends in the community about the challenges to prosperity or even independence some face in Fairfield County. United Way is the partner of choice for many individuals, agencies, corporations, and organizations who want to make a real impact in our community.
With these partnerships, United Way can effectively advocate for Fairfield County’s most pressing difficulties accessing education, financial stability, and healthy living as well as leverage resources to make a measurable impact in the Fairfield County community.
