Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as a Wellness Nurse. The Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that residents’ daily medication needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity and allows them to live their life to the fullest. Day shifts available.

• Full-time employees are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products).
• Part-time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Identity Protection, and Cyber Monitoring.
• Benefits start on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.

• Pay available daily.

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to the Physician’s orders.
• Understand and follow the Six Rights of medication administration and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management.
• Understand and appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise the care work of non-licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes” to all team members on shift.

• Active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Willing to take additional training or education as required by specific states.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system and learn new applications.
