Overview
Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as a Wellness Nurse. The Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that residents’ daily medication needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity and allows them to live their life to the fullest. Day shifts available.
Benefits- Full-time employees are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products).
- Part-time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Identity Protection, and Cyber Monitoring.
- Benefits start on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.

- Pay available daily.
- Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to the Physician’s orders.
- Understand and follow the Six Rights of medication administration and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management.
- Understand and appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
- Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
- Provide direct resident care and supervise the care work of non-licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
- Demonstrate the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes” to all team members on shift.
- Active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Willing to take additional training or education as required by specific states.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system and learn new applications.
