Position: Registered Nurse, RN (PRN)

PRN Nursing Position – Clear Sky Lancaster

We are hiring Registered Nurses for PRN shifts. Those who are dedicated and results-driven are encouraged to apply.

Hours: Block scheduling, 12‑hour shifts. 36 hours per week for full‑time.

Day Shift: 7am‑7:30pm

Night Shift: 7pm‑7:30am

PRN Requirements: 3 shifts in a 6‑week period with 1 over the weekend (Sat/Sun). One summer and one winter holiday.

Base Pay Range: $36.80–44.14 per hour (depending on years of experience).

About

The Role

This position offers a higher level of clinical care than typically found in post‑acute or residential settings. Our facility delivers hospital‑level services comparable to a medical‑surgical unit. The interdisciplinary team manages a wide range of complex medical needs, including intravenous therapy, surgical and wound care, tracheostomy management, mobility assistance, and comprehensive oversight of lines, tubes, and drains.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care within a healing environment focused on optimal recovery.

Position Highlights At a Glance
  • Average patient length of stay: 10–14 days
  • Conditions:

    Stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, orthopaedic, complex medical, and more
  • Team approach:
    Work closely with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy & more
  • Advanced care: IVs, trachs, wound care, mobility support, lines, tubes, and drains
  • 12‑hour shifts, 3 days/week + rotating weekends/holidays (with added pay)
What You’ll Need
  • RN License (State of OH)
  • BLS required
  • 1+ year of RN experience preferred (acute care a plus)
  • CRRN preferred
