Bickford Senior Living is looking for a Medication Technician to support resident care, ensuring daily medications are administered compassionately and with dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician orders.
  • Understand and follow the "Six rights of medication administration" and all Bickford policies and procedures regarding medication management.
  • Use the eMAR system for medication administration.
  • Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
  • Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate Bickford Mission "Whatever it Takes" to all team members on shift.
Qualifications
  • Active Medication Technician License in good standing or at least one year of experience in senior care.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Willing to take additional training or education required by specific states.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to use or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications.
