Position Summary
Full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift position at Clear Sky Lancaster. The role is essential for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care within a healing environment focused on optimal recovery.
Shift SettingsBlock scheduling, 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week. Day shift: 7:00‑7:30pm. Night shift: 7:00‑7:30am. PRN requirements: three shifts in a six‑week period, including one weekend shift (Saturday/Sunday) and one summer and one winter holiday.
Pay and DifferentialBase pay: $36.80–$44.14 per hour, dependent on experience.
Shift differentials: $3 per hour for weeknight (Mon‑Fri) shifts, $3 per hour for weekend day shifts, $5 per hour for weekend night shifts. Charge differential: $3 per hour.

This position provides a higher level of clinical care than typically found in post‑acute or residential settings. The facility delivers hospital‑level services comparable to those on a medical‑surgical unit. The RN will work with an interdisciplinary team to manage a wide range of complex medical needs, including intravenous therapy, surgical and wound care, tracheostomy management, mobility assistance, and the comprehensive oversight of lines, tubes, and drains.
PositionHighlights
- Average patient length of stay: 10–14 days.
- Conditions: stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, orthopedic, complex medical, and more.
- Team approach: close collaboration with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy, and others.
- Advanced care skills: IVs, tracheostomies, wound care, mobility support, lines, tubes, and drains.
- 12‑hour shifts, three days per week with rotating weekends and holidays (with added pay).
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for patients with complex medical conditions.
- Administer intravenous medications, therapies, and monitor patient responses.
- Provide wound and tracheostomy care, as well as mobilization and positioning support.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Valid RN license in the State of Ohio.
- BLS certification required.
- One or more years of RN experience preferred; acute‑care experience a plus.
- CRRN designation preferred.
