• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for CCU patients using the nursing process; adjust plans as patient status evolves.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately; monitor for adverse effects and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge, including explanations of procedures and self-care needs.
• Document the nursing process clearly and concisely; notify the physician of pertinent observations and changes in status.
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and ensure timely achievement of care goals.
• Supervise and direct unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate; ensure equipment and supplies are ready, functional, and safe.

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• CPR certification.
• Education:
  
  completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Experience:
  
  previous RN experience preferred (CCU/critical care exposure is advantageous).
• Ability to work in a CCU setting and comply with policies; strong communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
