This position is located in Lancaster, OH but will need to travel to the Columbus office once a month.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

• Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of Ohio Guidestone, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.
• Update and maintain client charts
• Provide diagnostic tests as directed and/or needed
• Establish and maintain an open line of communication with all therapists, program managers, and off-campus programs
• Provide ongoing education for infectious disease, Hepatitis, vitals, and medications for employees
• Attend nursing meetings as scheduled
• Carry out orders as received from doctors and/or nurse practitioners
• Monitor height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse of clients and report to doctors and/or nurse practitioners
• May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events, specific projects, or program changes
• Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging
• Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required
• Present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts
• Complete prior authorizations for medication and return phone calls to clients/families prior to end of shift
• Coordinate the medical portion of client care while receiving services at Ohio Guidestone
• Complete nursing assessments for clients
• Assist with referrals for clients to see health care professionals
• Rotate shift or site as needed based on staffing needs
• Provide ongoing education on mental health diagnosis and medications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Valid State of Ohio Registered Nursing License required
• Experience and/or knowledge with mental health and substance abuse within children, adolescents and adult populations preferred
• Outpatient office experience recommended

• Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required
• Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records
• Must be able to access work locations, offices, and homes as necessary, which may include ascending/descending stairs
• Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance
• Successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, background checks, and any other required assessments
