Job Description

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care using the nursing process. The RN will supervise co-workers and delegate appropriate tasks while adhering to established policies and procedures.

• Conduct assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluations of nursing care for each patient.

• Provide quality care based on assessment needs and established care plans.

• Educate patients and families from admission through the discharge process.

• Document nursing processes and care pathways accurately and legibly.

• Notify physicians of significant observations and changes in patient status.

• Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.

• Ensure availability of equipment and supplies for patient care and report malfunctions.

• Completion of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

• Valid nursing license to practice in the State of Ohio.

• CPR certification required.

• Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

This position requires a night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
