Registered Nurse – ICU

ICU Staff RN Opportunity

The Staff RN in the ICU is responsible for providing comprehensive critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans for ICU patients.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient status continuously, promptly reporting significant changes to the care team.
• Educate patients and families about their condition, treatments, and recovery process.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to nursing assistants and support staff.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of nursing interventions and patient responses.

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program with a diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Previous ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions.
• CPR certification required.
