Emergency Room Registered Nurse

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse manages and coordinates urgent patient care in the emergency department. They provide rapid assessment and treatment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to hospital policies and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of incoming emergency patients to determine priority levels.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and physician directives.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions accurately and safely.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Document all nursing activities thoroughly, clearly, and promptly in patient records.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and support teams to deliver timely care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio RN license.
• Possess an Associate Degree in Nursing;
  Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Demonstrate prior ER or emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize effectively.
