Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Lancaster, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and help deter security‑related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring professionalism, reliability, and teamwork while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Job Schedule- Mon – 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Tue – 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Wed – 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Thu – 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Fri – 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report access concerns, maintenance issues, and other security‑related matters.
- Support daily operations by maintaining accurate logs, completing required reports, and communicating professionally with clients, employees, and first responders during routine and emergency situations.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
