Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observer in Lancaster, OH
. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.32 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM;
Sun 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations calmly and document relevant details, communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, verifying access permissions and reporting concerns related to restricted areas or operational disruptions.
• Support daily site operations by observing equipment and material storage areas, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
