Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Victim Advocate located in Lancaster, OH. The Victim Advocate will provide direct support and guidance to victims of family violence, assist with individualized safety planning, and facilitate access to necessary resources. Responsibilities also include case management, collaboration with social services and law enforcement, and advocating for victims' rights within the community and legal system.

Qualifications

• Experience in Victim Services and Victim Advocacy, with a dedication to supporting individuals in crisis
• Background in Social Work or Case Management, including providing guidance and connecting clients with resources
• Knowledge or experience in Criminal Justice, particularly related to victim rights and legal proceedings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations
• Capability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and maintain confidentiality
• Relevant professional certification or a degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred
