Job Summary
The CSEA Enforcement Supervisor manages a team of Enforcement Case Managers and Team Leads, ensuring Fairfield County child support orders are collected and enforced effectively and efficiently. The supervisor also performs direct case‑management duties as assigned by the Child Support Administrator (Deputy Director).
Responsibilities- Provide direction and supervision to Enforcement Case Managers and Team Leads (40%). This includes caseload assistance, mentorship, monthly supervision meetings, team presentations, and regular participation in CSEA Management Meetings.
- Provide child support case management on a limited caseload (35%). Duties include ensuring support is paid, collected, and disbursed, communicating with obligors and obligees, motivating timely payments, identifying barriers, connecting clients with resources, and initiating administrative enforcement actions when needed.
- Maintain and update child support cases using the Ohio Office of Child Support’s SETS computer system database, processing changes in address, phone number, medical insurance, and employment.
- Provide proactive customer service and follow‑up with obligors, obligees, attorneys, court staff, and employers (15%).
- Attend workgroup meetings, staff meetings, and trainings as required (10%).
- Two years experience as an Investigator 2 (30142) or completion of two years of technical training or undergraduate major core coursework in criminology, social work, psychology, or a related field, plus two years investigative experience in a social service agency or similar environment.
- Alternative: one course or six months experience in each of the following: interviewing techniques; business math; criminal investigations; case preparation techniques; criminal court proceedings; techniques of writing; typing, keyboarding or word processing, plus two years investigative experience in a social service agency or similar environment.
- Equivalent education, training, and/or experience counted toward the minimum qualifications as stated above.
