Voter Registration Records Supervisor

This is second level supervisory work directing the processing and maintenance of voter registration affidavit files.

The employee in this class, through subordinate clerical supervisors, directs the work activities of a large number of clerical and temporary election workers engaged in processing and maintaining voter registration affidavit files.

Work includes planning, assigning and reviewing the work of subordinate staff. The employee in this class ensures timely processing of voter registration affidavit files, studies, evaluates and recommends changes in procedures to effect more expeditious processing of the work. Conducting training for subordinate staff and temporary election workers is a significant aspect of the work. Work is performed under the supervision of an administrative superior.

• 1. Education
  :
  Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth school grade.
• 2. General Experience
  :
  Two years of experience in clerical work.
• 3. Specific Experience
  :
  Two years of clerical experience supervising a staff of clerical employees engaged in processing and maintaining voter registration records, or any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by the Personnel Department.
• Physical and Medical Requirements
  :
  Ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required of a position in this class.
