A growing Lancaster County manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support the ongoing effectiveness of its Quality Management System (QMS). This position will have primary responsibility for training records, controlled documentation, system administration, and compliance tracking.
This position offers the opportunity to become an important resource within an established manufacturing operation while gaining broader exposure to quality systems, compliance, auditing, training, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities for the Document Control Specialist:
- Maintain employee training plans, qualification records, and compliance documentation to ensure requirements remain accurate and current.
- Coordinate with supervisors and department leaders to track required training, identify gaps, and ensure training records are completed appropriately.
- Administer the document control process, including revisions, approvals, controlled access, distribution, and implementation of updated documents.
- Support the Quality Management System (QMS) by maintaining system access, permissions, records, and related administrative functions.
- Participate in internal audits and assist with follow-up activities, corrective actions, and preventive measures related to training and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, process improvements, and quality-system enhancements.
