The Hydraulic Hose Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive brand growth, sales, and profitability for Private & Exclusive Brands. This role collaborates cross‑functionally to optimize pricing strategies, enhance product marketing, and strengthen supplier relationships.
Responsibilities Brand Management and Sales Growth (Private/Exclusive Brands)- Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies.
- Implement targeted sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, and product launches.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
- Oversee product development initiatives aligned with market demands.
- Lead and support conversion activities to Private/Exclusive Brands.
- Act as the primary contact between LGG Industrial and the Manufacturer.
- Collaborate with the Pricing Group to establish competitive pricing structures.
- Monitor pricing performance, conduct competitive analysis, and adjust strategies.
- Support special pricing initiatives for large bid opportunities.
- Develop compelling content for external websites, social media, and marketing collateral.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to showcase product value propositions.
- Lead cross‑functional projects supporting profitable growth.
- Set clear milestones and ensure timely execution.
- Ensure connectedness and sharing of best practices across all regions of North America.
- Drive initiatives that shift the product category toward a solutions‑based selling approach.
- Develop value‑added offerings to enhance customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Guide suppliers to align products with market demands.
- Collaborate on joint marketing initiatives and product positioning strategies.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance product range.
- Develop and lead training programs for Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Provide ongoing support and resources for team readiness.
- Provide technical and application support.
- Support part number, BOM, and kit creation for large projects (Private/Exclusive Brands Only).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or a related role.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Hydraulic Hose, Fittings, and accessories.
- Ability to interpret market trends and sales data.
- Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and driving measurable results.
- Experience in industrial or B2B markets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
