Stahl Sheaffer is currently seeking to hire Construction Inspectors, Supervisors, and/or Managers in transportation to join our Construction Inspection & Management team at one of our various Pennsylvania office locations.
ResponsibilitiesPerform construction inspection and documentation services on large utility, paving, bridge, and highway projects.
Minimum Requirements for the Position- A High School diploma (or equivalent)
- A valid driver's license and daily access to a motor vehicle
- The ability to obtain state and federal background clearances and pass pre-employment drug screening to permit working on-site
- Prior experience working as a Transportation Construction Inspector, Supervisor, or Manager
- Prior experience on Pennsylvania Turnpike, DOT highway, and/or bridge projects
- Basic math skills and the ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures
- Prior experience with documenting daily construction activities which includes the measurement and calculation of pay quantities
