What Will You Do?

Our Digital Organizer will direct our in-house influencers cohort and work alongside our Campus Organizing team to:

  • Hire a team of Digital Fellows who will:
    • build our own social media following and engagement through working with professional social media & comms strategists.
    • Film and edit short-form (up to 3 min) creative videos that will help mobilize students for Pennsylvania’s 2026 elections.
    • Film and edit short-ish form (up to 5 min) creative content to educate and mobilize Gen-Z on You Tube
    • Create static content and designs that will engage and educate student voters.
  • Build regional social media strategies and amplify key content to engage youth voters around PA’s 2026 elections.
  • Review content created by digital fellows and content plans for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage social media accounts for project 26 on Instagram, Youtube, Tik Tok and Discord.
  • Develop platform-specific civic education content plan for 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to get an inside look at how campaigns work and gain pivotal experience in crafting content that emphasizes key messages, while providing critical resources for young voters.

Our Digital Organizers will start in Feb and run through November 13, 2026. Organizers will focus on managing fellow teams to mobilizing and engaging voters in their regions, and talking to youth about the importance of the upcoming elections. Content will be shared on our statewide Project 26 accounts including Instagram, Tik Tok, and You Tube, students’ personal and/or influencer accounts, and region-specific social accounts.

  • Understand the correct tone & pace for short-form video
  • Thrive in fast-changing environments and know how to stay focused even when circumstances feel uncertain.
  • Are excited and eager to talk with lots of students and are especially comfortable creating and being featured on camera.
  • Create content that sounds natural & organic, rather than scripted & pre-informed
  • Ensure brand consistency across platforms
  • Stay current with pop culture and politics-related trends on social media and be able to adapt them to our P26 brand
  • Demonstrate an ability to condense information into under a minute in a way that is interesting to those with limited knowledge and/or interest of politics
  • Have a passion for using political engagement to build a future when Gen-Z can thrive and be ready to jump in and inspire young people to get involved
  • Be excited to think outside the box and to ideate and innovate to find the most exciting and effective content to mobilize youth voters in your region
  • Be eager to talk to as many students as possible (and be comfortable talking to a lot of strangers/potential volunteers) in person and online
  • Be creative and flexible; able to manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Be exceptionally well-organized, and have strong time management skills.
  • Be enrolled at a Pennsylvania college or university and/or a Pennsylvania resident.
Preferred Experience

Canva, Cap Cut, Tik Tok, Instagram, Instagram Edits, You Tube, G-Suite, Discord

Previous experience creating political content is a plus; previous experience creating content for You Tube is a bigger plus. Neither are required.

Position Details
  • Digital Organizers will report directly to the Digital Director.
  • This role is hybrid
    ;
    Digital Organizers can expect a work balance of roughly 75% online to 25% in person, 40 hours per week.
  • Compensation &

    Hours:

    Compensation for this role is $25.00 per hour, and includes PTO, health benefits, and a technology stipend. This is a full-time role.
    • There may be points throughout the year where organizers are asked to work additional hours and/or weekends.
  • Blackout Periods: During key mobilization periods, staff will observe PTO blackout dates. Barring parental, bereavement, or another protected leave class, staff will not be able to take PTO during these times.
    • The month of August
    • 10 days before a Voter Registration Deadline
    • 10 days before a General or Primary election
