Position Title:
Customer Service Specialist
Program: WIC/Health and Nutrition
Classification:
Non-Exempt/Full Time
Travel:
Must be willing to work from all WIC locations within Lancaster County
Duties and Responsibilities
Call Center:
- Answer incoming calls using multi-line phone system and respond to all voicemail messages
- Schedule participant appointments for all clinics
- Process online applications and referrals from community partners
- Provide referrals to community resources
Reception Area:
- Greet clients arriving for appointments and completing the check-in process
- Issue electronic benefits to participants
- Maintain proficiency in breastfeeding curriculum and promote a breastfeeding-friendly environment in all clinics
Income Eligibility:
- Check for adjunct eligibility in statewide database
- Verify household income and determine eligibility
Lab:
- Perform anthropometric and hematological measurements by standard procedure
- Observe universal precautions and comply with all OSHA standards
Other Duties as assigned including flexible clinic assignments.
Education/Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- WIC experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Competent word processing and computer skills

The work schedule for this role is as follows:
Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 8:00am - 1:30pm 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month 10:30am - 7:00pm This role is scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week
