Minimum Hourly Salary: $52.57 (master's level)

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

ESY Speech/Language Therapist is responsible for assessing those students referred for service, determining severity of speech/language remediation needs and designing an appropriate program for them. They are also responsible for developing an appropriate schedule for therapy in each assigned school to make maximum use of time.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Speech/Language, Master's level preferred. Active PA certification in Speech & Language Impaired is required.

* ESY positions available for Autistic Support, Emotional Support, Multiple Disabilities Support classrooms and applicable related services.

School-based & Center-based Half-Day

4 hours/day

4 days/week (Mon - Thurs)

AM Session: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

PM Session: 12:00 PM-4:00 PM

Center-based Full-Day AS/ES (limited positions available)

7 hours/day

4 days/week (Mon - Thurs)

Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Required Training and Classroom Set-up Day for ESY Assignment:

All staff must be available for required training and classroom set-up day. Training will be based on position and assignment.

Training Week:

June 16, 17, 18:
Online Training session will be available in early June

Classroom set-up day:
Monday, June 15 12:00p-4:00p all locations (unless otherwise directed)
