Valley Youth House offers internship opportunities for students pursuing an Associates, Bachelors or Graduate degree. Internships are offered in human services, development, recreation, administration, finance and marketing.
Students completing internships are required to intern at least 12 hours per week (168 hours per semester) and may intern for one, two or three semesters. Each student is assigned an internship supervisor based on their career goals and licensing/degree needs (LSW, LCSW, LPC, PhD) and will receive weekly supervision, as well as regular evaluations.
** Please note current employees are allowed to complete work-based internships with us. However, employees need to successfully complete their six-month employment orientation period.
