Adjunct, Management (Part‑time)
Position Summary and Qualifications

Saint Joseph’s University’s Department of Management seeks highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of undergraduate courses each semester. Positions are for in‑person instruction on the main campus at Hawk Hill. Adjunct instructors are appointed on a semester‑to‑semester basis with no guarantee of consecutive appointments.

• Provide support and guidance to students.
• Instruct assigned courses, delivering syllabi and other instructional materials.
• Use the university learning management system to deliver instruction.
• Meet all scheduled class sessions and provide one hour of office hours each week.

Specific teaching needs for the 2026‑27 academic year include:

• Organizational Behavior/Human Resources
• Business Ethics
• Workplace Diversity

Part‑time adjunct faculty may instruct one or two courses each semester on an “as needed” basis.

• Required:
  
  Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Business Ethics, or a closely related field.
• Preferred:
  Experience teaching in a post‑secondary environment.

• May require standing for long periods of time.
• May require talking for long periods of time.
• May require carrying course materials.

Adjunct compensation is determined by education and relevant work experience according to the university’s pay structure.
