Adjunct, Management (Part‑time)
Position Summary and Qualifications
Saint Joseph’s University’s Department of Management seeks highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of undergraduate courses each semester. Positions are for in‑person instruction on the main campus at Hawk Hill. Adjunct instructors are appointed on a semester‑to‑semester basis with no guarantee of consecutive appointments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Provide support and guidance to students.
- Instruct assigned courses, delivering syllabi and other instructional materials.
- Use the university learning management system to deliver instruction.
- Meet all scheduled class sessions and provide one hour of office hours each week.
Specific teaching needs for the 2026‑27 academic year include:
- Organizational Behavior/Human Resources
- Business Ethics
- Workplace Diversity
Part‑time adjunct faculty may instruct one or two courses each semester on an “as needed” basis.
Minimum Qualifications- Required:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Business Ethics, or a closely related field. - Preferred:
Experience teaching in a post‑secondary environment.
- May require standing for long periods of time.
- May require talking for long periods of time.
- May require carrying course materials.
In‑person only.

- Statement of teaching philosophy.
- Teaching evaluations.
