Position SummaryVillanova University’s Mechanical Engineering Department seeks a full-time, non‑tenure track visiting faculty member for the fall and spring semesters of the 2026‑2027 academic year. The successful candidate will teach 12 contact hours per semester, typically involving two to three preparation sessions, and will instruct undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities- Teaching undergraduate courses and labs.
- A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely aligned discipline is required (must be completed at the time of hire).
- The applicant must demonstrate a dedication to teaching excellence.
- A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred.
