Job SummaryLINK coordinators assume the responsibilities of coordinating team building activities that help break down stereotypes and barriers, provide a safe space to discuss mental health and other issues facing teens, and build self-confidence to affect positive change in students.

Qualifications- Experience: Experience fostering peer leadership that motivates, trains and empowers student leaders to make positive changes in themselves and the school community.
- Skills: Strong managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
- Education: Valid PA teaching certificate.
- Facilitate student leadership and peer mentoring, guiding students in developing leadership skills, positive communication, and peer support strategies.
- Plan and coordinate program activities, including regular meetings, retreats, and team-building exercises that promote self-confidence, inclusive interactions, and positive school climate.
- Supervise and support student participants, including nominated students, ensuring a safe, respectful, and productive environment during program activities.
- Oversee retreat planning and execution, including organizing logistics, coordinating with staff and student leaders, and managing activities for new participants.
- Promote program engagement and collaboration, serving as the primary liaison between students, staff, and administration to ensure alignment with school goals and LINK program standards.
- Has read and understands obligations as outlined in MNSD School Board Policies.
- Other duties as assigned by Administration.
Frequency of meetings: September – June; after school throughout the school year
- LINK program retreats require overnight travel and some weekends
Approximate number of students enrolled: Approximately 80 students
Clearances: In accordance with the school code, Act 24 and all related clearances.
CompensationMNSD Supplementary Contract Unit Values
1-2 years experience - $438.00
3-5 years experience - $475.00
6 years & over experience - $510.00
