Job Summary:

Responsible for advancing the mission and growth of the Business Department through external engagement, employer and community partnerships, student mentorship, and oversight of the entrepreneurial course sequence. This part-time role blends classroom instruction and mentorship with business development, strengthening relationships with regional businesses to build vocational and internship pipelines, networking with business professionals, cultivating philanthropic support for the department, and developing mentorship programming with focused attention on student-athletes, entrepreneurially-focused students, and students pursuing internships.

The Coordinator serves as a connective bridge between the academic program and the marketplace, equipping students to launch and lead mission-driven ventures. Participates in the daily operations of campus life, including but not limited to chapel and campus events.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, or a related field
• Significant professional experience in business ownership, business development, sales/marketing, or a related field
• Demonstrated success building professional relationships and partnerships

• Master’s degree (MBA or related field) preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial or founder experience (launching, growing, or scaling a venture)
• An established network of regional business and industry contacts
• Experience in fundraising, donor cultivation, or sponsorship development
• Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring in higher education or a professional setting

• Ability to articulate clearly a biblical philosophy of business, work, and vocational calling.
• Ability to articulate a clear biblical worldview of business and entrepreneurship education.
• Proven ability to network, build rapport, and cultivate long-term relationships with employers, business professionals, and community partners.
• Ability to design and manage programs, including internship pipelines and structured mentorship initiatives.
• Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and coach undergraduate students through real-world venture building.
• Ability to identify, cultivate, and steward donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities on behalf of the department.
• Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Ability to utilize effective methodologies for classroom instruction and experiential, cohort-based learning.
• Ability to work with colleagues across academics, advancement, athletics, and career services on corporate projects.
• Proficiency in written and oral communication, including public speaking and pitch coaching.
• Willingness to be actively involved in student life and campus events.
• Proficiency with word processing, general computer skills, and LBC's instructional technologies (i.e., Learning Management System, Video Conferencing, etc.).

• Strengthen and expand relationships with regional businesses to create vocational and internship pipelines for business students.
