Preschool Early Intervention Program Assistant

Schedule:
7.00 Hours/Day (8:15 am-3:45 pm) Monday-Friday 195 Days/Year - Early Intervention follows a stretch calendar that includes a summer session. Minimum Annual Salary: $76,138.00
Purpose Of Position:
To assist the administrators of the Preschool Early Intervention Program with child find, evaluation, and coordination of special education services for young children.

Skills Required:
- Education Required:
Master's degree preferred OR significant classroom experience in lieu of Master's degree - Certification
Required:
PA Certification in Special Education - Experience
Required:
Minimum of three years
Essential Physical Requirement:
The strength and ability to lift and/or assist in lifting pupils of ages ranging from pre-school to age of beginners and their assistive appliances. Considerable bending, stooping, and squatting must be tolerated as well as the ability to possibly restrain students in emotional stress.
