As a Civil Engineer at Atwell, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, including the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in residential, commercial, and/or industrial land development.
Job Description- Site Plan Excellence:
Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards. - Data Analysis:
Dive into project survey data to assess existing site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents. - Comprehensive Reporting:
Prepare a variety of reports, opinions, and recommendations crucial for project direction. This may include hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer's opinion of probable costs, project schedules, utility calculations, storm sewer reports, permit applications, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD and WaterCAD reports, and preliminary grading. - Construction Support:
Provide construction‑related services such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals. Organize site plans, construction plans, and construction documents under senior guidance. - Engineering Software Mastery:
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages to complete assignments efficiently and in line with established standards. - Effective Communication:
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with current staff, ensuring seamless project coordination.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- 2+ years of experience.
- EIT strongly preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred.
$75,000 – $126,000 USD.
