Senior Scientist, Engineering- Analytical Container Closure Integrity; CCI

Responsibilities

• Characterize new package/device components to inform selection/optimization
• Develop, validate, and transfer CCI test methods (method transfer/lifecycle support)
• Provide in-depth technical support to resolve packaging and device CCI analytical and manufacturing investigations
• Develop and grow CCI analytical technologies/capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; communicate effectively (written/verbal)

• Education:
  
  BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering or related discipline (e.g., physical chemistry)
• Experience:
  
  BS/MS with 5+ years in pharma/biotech/medical devices (or PhD); familiarity/experience with CCI testing
• Preferred:
  Advanced proficiency in common CCI technologies (dye ingress, high voltage leak detection, vacuum/pressure decay, laser headspace, tracer gas); hands-on CCI method development/validation/troubleshooting; familiarity with USP and ISO-13485 and relevant standards
