Overview
This role is a full-time, remote that can sit anywhere within our 5 state footprint post training.
Core working hours will be between 8 am
-5 pm.
This role is responsible for managing the post-approval documentation and pre-closing process for complex financial transactions. The position ensures all required documentation is collected, validated, and submitted accurately and timely, while adhering to regulatory, policy, and investor guidelines. The incumbent serves as a liaison between internal teams, customers, and third-party contacts to facilitate smooth processing and closing. This role may handle assignments of higher complexity.
Responsibilities
- Collect, assemble, validate, and submit documentation to satisfy pre-closing conditions for approved transactions.
- Review files for completeness, compliance, and adherence to applicable policies, guidelines, and regulations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders; resolve questions and provide timely communication.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor and manage the pipeline of post-approval activities to meet customer, regulatory, and organizational expectations.
- Prepare and review correspondence, approval letters, and disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing of all documentation.
- Analyze financial and transaction data to confirm eligibility and compliance with established requirements.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- May focus on loan processing related to commercial and/or residential mortgage transactions.
- May require familiarity with commercial loan documentation and financial requirements.
- May ensure accurate data for Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) reporting.
Education
High School Diploma or the equivalent experience. (Required)
Associate Degree or the equivalent experience. Course of study:
Finance, Business, or related field. (Preferred)
Required Experience
5 or more years loan processing experience.
3 or more years experience with residential mortgage banking and/or administrative work in a commercial lending environment. (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access. (Required)
Proven ability to be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. (Required)
Good communication skills, written and oral. (Required)
Strong problem-solving ability. (Required)
Excellent time management skills. (Required)
Ability to multi-task. (Required)
Ability to show initiative, be a self-starter, work independently and professionally with minimal supervision. (Required)
Ability to keep confidential and privileged information in a secure a responsible fashion. (Required)
Familiarity with banking and commercial loan systems:
Laser Pro, Silverlake, Baker Hill or similar. (Preferred)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.59 - $35.96.
