Responsibilities include managing missing hour reports and ensuring timely processing to avoid penalties.
  • Investigate and resolve union discrepancies and audits, including liquidated damages, employer contribution rates, and fund submission variances. Collaborate closely with labor relations teams to discuss audit outcomes and facilitate resolution communications.
  • Adhere strictly to departmental procedures and compliance standards, coordinating with Corporate Accounting to uphold transactional integrity across field accounting functions.
  • Maintain fringe benefit files and records in alignment with D&Z's retention policies and audit protocols, escalating issues and communicating outcomes to the Manager of Union Fringes.
  • Support additional tasks as assigned by management.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of payroll and accounts payable transaction workflows pertinent to union contributions, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process.
  • Exceptional analytical skills combined with a sharp attention to detail, enabling effective problem-solving and resolution of complex financial discrepancies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, ensuring timely completion and follow-up of all assignments.
  • Strong communication capabilities, both written and verbal, to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders including business unit leaders and union representatives.
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), SharePoint, and corporate reporting tools like Win Shuttle and Web Tool Box , enabling efficient data management and reporting.
