THE POSITION

This position supports the financial and eligibility functions that allow Delaware County Children and Youth Services to operate smoothly and provide vital services.

• Eligibility Reviews:
  Review eligibility for children in custody and conduct required re determinations
• Data Management:
  Maintain databases and evaluate eligibility reports for accuracy
• Financial Tracking:
  Track and report payments including DRO and Social Security transactions
• Documentation Checks:
  Examine court orders and other legal records for compliance with Title IV E regulations
• Information Requests:
  Prepare responses for information needed by agencies and program staff

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
• Telework:
  You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary:

• One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or
• Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
• One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

• You must pass a background investigation.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
