What You'll Do:

As an Activities Assistant, you’ll play a key role in enriching the lives of our residents by coordinating and leading both group and individual activities designed to promote engagement, independence, and well-being. You’ll work alongside other team members to:

  • Lead recreational, sensory, or therapeutic activities tailored to residents' needs and abilities

  • Encourage resident participation and provide companionship

  • Assist with planning and executing facility-wide events

  • Transport and escort residents to and from activity areas or community outings

  • Maintain and organize activity supplies and materials

  • Support meal assistance and one-on-one resident visits

  • Supervise and guide volunteers during activity programs

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred

  • Interest or background in recreation, social work, or healthcare support roles is a plus

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, patient-centered attitude

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment
