About the Role:
As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting our dietary staff in preparing and serving meals to our patients and residents. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients
- Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of patient meals and snacks
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards
- Collaborating with our dietary team to develop and implement creative and delicious meal plans
- Providing exceptional customer service to our patients, residents, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and presentation
- Maintain accurate records of patient meal intake and preferences
- Participate in food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, residents, and families
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a healthcare or food service setting preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
