We are seeking a QA Automation Tester with extensive experience in web and API testing using both manual and automation approaches. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation tools, scripting, and data validation, along with experience working in Agile environments to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Perform manual and automated testing for web applications and APIs
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium and Python
- Design and execute test scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications
- Conduct functional, regression, and load testing to ensure application stability
- Validate data using SQL queries and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with development, business analysis, and data teams to understand requirements and system design
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Identify, document, and track defects; participate in defect triage meetings
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to issue resolution
- Prepare and manage test data for various scenarios
- Provide input on test estimations and delivery timelines
- Support continuous improvement and quality assurance best practices
- Minimum 7 years of experience in web application testing (manual and automation)
- Strong experience in API and web services testing
- At least 5 years of experience with T-SQL and writing queries for data validation
- Minimum 5 years of experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Python
- Strong scripting skills for web and API automation (Python preferred)
- Familiarity with web and API automation techniques
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with Playwright
- Experience with mobile testing
- Familiarity with Jira or similar tools
- Basic understanding of finance domain concepts and terminology
