With a strong international presence and continued investment in innovation, the organization is embarking on a significant AI transformation program designed to improve operational efficiency, unlock new revenue opportunities, and embed AI across core business functions.
This is a newly created leadership position offering the opportunity to define and deliver the company's AI strategy while building a high-performing AI function from the ground up.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Define and execute the enterprise-wide AI strategy, identifying high-impact opportunities across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, sales, customer operations, and corporate functions.
- Build, lead, and develop a dedicated AI team, establishing best practices, governance frameworks, and delivery standards for AI and Agentic AI solutions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to translate business challenges into scalable AI initiatives with measurable ROI.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of AI programs, from use case identification and proof of concept through to production deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Drive adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities across the organization, acting as an internal AI advocate and educator.
- Collaborate with analytics, IT, cybersecurity, and external AI partners to develop the data, infrastructure, and operating models required to support enterprise AI initiatives.
- Design and deliver AI training and enablement programs to increase AI literacy and adoption across the business.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of AI innovation.
- Proven experience leading and scaling AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Analytics teams.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and their practical business applications.
- Demonstrated success deploying AI solutions at scale within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or similarly complex environments.
- Ability to engage and influence senior executives while translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Experience driving organizational change and promoting adoption of new technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience managing technology investment budgets and demonstrating business value and ROI.
- Experience with Snowflake and modern cloud-based AI ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Agentic AI development frameworks and platforms, including Claude-based tooling.
- Background within manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology, precision engineering, or related sectors.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
