Salary and Grade: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour; 72 Non-Exempt

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

* Safely transport individuals to and from Salvation Army functions.

* Conduct a pre-trip/post trip inspection daily.

* Record any damages or wear in bus journal and report to Supervisor.

* Report any problems related to the vehicle such as accidents, damage, or passenger difficulties.

* Maintain/Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles.

* Participate in drug testing as requested.

* Do special pick-ups only assigned by supervisor's instructions.

* Responsible for notifying Operations Manager of any parts necessary for upkeep of the vehicles.

* Abide by all applicable driving laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

* High School Diploma, or equivalent.

* Valid PA Driver's License with good driving record, CDL preferred.

* At least 3 years of driving experience.

* Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. In addition, completion of a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is necessary prior to employment.

* Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
