Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position

An employee in this position is responsible for providing preventative and repair maintenance for facilities and equipment, installation of new equipment, support process improvement as directed by the Manager, Maintenance.

Major Functions:

1.  Safety

2.  Baseline knowledge of following:

+ Electrical

+ Hydraulics

+ Pneumatics  

+ Vacuum

+ HVAC

+ Plumbing

+ Carpentry

+ Welding

+ Painting

+ Snow Removal

3.
Preventative Maintenance

4.
Repair maintenance (machinery and building)

5.
New Equipment/Modifications

6.
Support Process Improvement and Engineering projects

7.
Requires On-call duty

Qualifications

+ High school diploma, plus specialized training, certification. or a two-year degree

+ 2-5 years' maintenance experience in manufacturing

+ Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
