Maintenance Manager - Machining
Location:
Lancaster, PA
Salary: $100k-130k
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facility. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and systems, as well as managing a team of maintenance technicians. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage resources.
Job Duties
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or potential problems
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment upgrades
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability when needed
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and develop effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance management
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of low voltage systems
- Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and logic controllers
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
